Liz Kay (1981) is known as a danceartist since 2007, when her first single ‘When love becomes a lie’ hit the charts. This catchy song introduced her into the eurodance. Soon her second single ‘Castles in the sky’ filled the floors. The music of Liz Kay reaches countries all over the world thanks to the professional team Yanou & Manian, producers of the very succesful international dance-formation Cascada. Liz Kay was born in the Netherlands in Delft. She has always loved performing and entertaining people. At the age of sixteen she started her professional singing career. She performed at many big events and made it into many talentshowfinals. This inspired her to continue singing and to take her chances in the music business. When Liz was 19 she started private singing lessons and turned out to be a real musical artist. Thanks to her tremendous willpower and enthusiasm Liz got involved in various singing projects. This helped her in gaining experience. In the last few years Liz Kay has joined project after project. Soul, pop, dance, theatreplays, hiphop and rockmusic passed by and brought her on many stages. Through those years Liz Kay was also invited for several studiojobs. She made quite a few commercials and jingles for Dutch radio and television. Thanks to all her connections Yanou invited Liz a few years ago to do a try-out in his studio. Liz: “We did one song to see if we we’re a good team. I was really excited as I know Yanou is a great producer. It felt so natural and we we’re both really happy with the results, so we never stopped working together. Look where I ended up being! The experienced DJ ànd producer Manian is also an important part of the team. I’m so proud and thankful to work with them! And you know what? The try-out song will be one of my singles on the album.” A new queen of clubs has risen and there is a lot more to come!
